HANYS’ Sepsis Support
Sepsis and septic shock are leading causes of death worldwide. New York acute care hospitals that provide care to patients with sepsis are required to develop and implement evidence-informed sepsis protocols describing their approach to early recognition and treatment of sepsis patients. Additionally, hospitals are required to report data used to calculate each hospital’s performance on key measures of early treatment and protocol use.
To support our members in meeting these requirements and improving patient outcomes, HANYS provides a sepsis platform to help hospitals with data submission.
